Restoring Community

Building a healthy, connected and cohesive community is the restorative vision community leaders have for Deniliquin following the stresses of drought and COVID-19,

A new committee will develop a way to work together, and turn "conflict into a positive".

Its members met for the first time last week to undertake training with Restorative Journeys to help the process.

The training helps individuals, professionals and communities repair, build and maintain, strong, healthy relationships, teaching restorative practice strategies to encompass change and community development.
